Victor Osimhen will start from the bench in the Super Eagles’ African Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda on Tuesday. Manager Austin Eguavoen has opted for a single change from the lineup that secured a win against Benin Republic on Saturday.
Despite scoring Nigeria’s second goal in the previous match, Osimhen has not been selected to lead the attack. Instead, Victor Boniface will start alongside Ademola Lookman, who netted twice against Benin, and Samuel Chukwueze.
Lazio’s Tom Dele-Basiru replaces Fulham’s Alex Iwobi, who had a subdued performance in the last game.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 2 pm at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
