Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update ahead of Wednesday’s Carabao Cup quarter-final against Crystal Palace.
Declan Rice is set to be available for selection, but Alex Zinchenko and Riccardo Calafiori remain sidelined due to injury. Arteta confirmed that while Rice is fit, a final decision on his participation will be made closer to the match.
Speaking about the other injured players, Arteta said, “Not much. Declan [Rice] is fine, we’ll make the decision whether he’s available or not. Alex [Zinchenko] and Richy [Calafiori] will be out of the squad for tomorrow.”
This clash with Crystal Palace marks the first of two matches between the sides in just three days, as they will meet again in the Premier League on Saturday.
