It’s a season of celebrations for Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe Adeoti as she continues to rack up awards. Recently, she shared a video on her Instagram from the Odunlade Adekola Film Production Award (OAFP), where she received another prestigious recognition.
In the video, Mercy, accompanied by her husband Kazim Adeoti, expressed her gratitude for the blessings she’s received. She acknowledged how the awards keep pouring in and thanked God for the opportunity to pursue her passion. Mercy also expressed deep appreciation for her fans, her “MERCIFIED ARMY,” whose love and support mean everything to her.
She shared, “It’s raining awards for me, guys! I’m super grateful to God for His incredible blessings. I’m thankful for the opportunity to do what I love and for the talents and abilities He’s given me. To my Super Fans, this is for you!”
Mercy’s latest win adds to a string of successes this season. Just last week, she received the Best Supporting Actress award at the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards. She also celebrated the success of her debut film Ada Omo Daddy, which grossed 180.7 million Naira and earned 10 nominations.
Mercy is already looking ahead, teasing her next project, Thin Line, which she hopes will be another success. Her husband, Kazim, proudly celebrated her achievements, acknowledging her creativity and dedication to her craft.
