Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the outgoing Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), has credited her successful tenure to the support she received from both former President Muhammadu Buhari and current President Bola Tinubu.

During a farewell town hall meeting organized by the Joint Union Negotiating Council (JUNC) in Abuja, Yemi-Esan expressed her gratitude to both leaders. “I want to thank former President Muhammadu Buhari and President Bola Tinubu, who made my work easier,” she said.

Reflecting on her journey, Yemi-Esan expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to lead the nation’s civil service. “I thank God for the opportunity to serve my country. Becoming the Head of Service of the Federation was never something I envisioned, but God made it possible.”

She also acknowledged the vital support of the permanent secretaries in helping her achieve the transformative programs she implemented during her tenure. “They are dedicated, hardworking, and provided the support I needed to succeed,” she noted.

Yemi-Esan described the farewell event as “unprecedented,” noting that she had never seen such an honor bestowed by union officials on any previous retirees from the service.
