Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, garnered praise as he embarked on an outreach to children in the Surulere and Makoko areas of Lagos. This effort fulfilled his commitment to donate ₦100 million for Christmas.
On Monday, December 11, the singer announced his plan to contribute ₦100 million to kids in various parts of the country for the festive season. While specific details about the distribution were not disclosed, Wizkid, accompanied by his bodyguards, was spotted at different locations in Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State.
He had earlier stated that the cash distribution would commence in Surulere, and videos circulating on social media confirmed his visits to both Surulere and Makoko, showcasing the artist’s commitment to spreading joy during the holiday season.
