Nigerian singer Young John has expressed his frustration over being excluded from conversations about the country’s top musicians.
According to the *Dada* crooner, his journey began as a producer, which he believes has led to his being overlooked despite his musical success.
Taking to his X handle, Young John wrote:
“I see how you all leave me out of conversations prolly cos I started out as a producer. Continue! Time will tell!”
Young John rose to fame as one of YBNL Nation’s leading in-house producers, creating hit songs for prominent artists like Lil Kesh and Olamide.
After leaving YBNL, he transitioned into a singing career under Chocolate City and has since released numerous hits, including Dada, Xtra Cool, Big Big Things, Bahamas, and Stronger.
Despite his musical achievements, he remains steadfast, asserting that time will prove his talent and contributions to the industry.
