Singer Dammy Krane sheds light on why he hasn’t pursued legal action against his colleague, Wizkid, following their altercation in 2016.
Recalling their past beef, Dammy Krane had accused Wizkid of stealing music ideas, leading to a physical confrontation where Wizkid reportedly broke a bottle on Dammy Krane’s head at Quilox nightclub. Despite issuing an apology, their feud remained unresolved.
Recently, Dammy Krane sparked controversy by suggesting on Twitter that Portable, another artist, was more relevant than Wizkid. Predictably, this statement stirred reactions, with one netizen suggesting that Dammy Krane might face another bottle incident.
In response, Dammy Krane revealed that he refrained from legal action against Wizkid due to the intervention of individuals like Shina Peller and Obagoal. He disclosed that Wizkid threw a glass cup at him in Quilox before seeking refuge in Shina Peller’s office and apologizing.
In his tweet, Dammy Krane stated, “If not for Shina Peller & Obagoal, I would have taken legal action against Wiz; which I still can do if necessary. He threw a glass cup in my section in Quilox, then ran away to hide in Shina Peller’s office & begged me lol. Wiz knows there would have been consequences; R.I.P 44🕊️ 🤍💡”
