In a surprising turn of events, activist Very Dark Man has reached out to singer Falz, urging him to drop his defamation lawsuit against him. The plea comes in light of ongoing investigations by the House of Representatives.
Taking to Instagram, Very Dark Man addressed Falz directly, stating, “@falzthebahdguy if you see the nonsense going on here, you go drop lawsuit make we focus on the bad eggs when wan kpai country, them don dey cast themselves here?” He emphasized their shared struggle, noting, “Don’t get it twisted, your father na my father in the struggle. If you were here, you would understand. I no go defame baba. Bless up, MAN TO MAN, GOD BLESS YOU.”
He elaborated in his caption, highlighting the deep-seated corruption in Nigeria’s systems. “I wish everyone could see how bad corruption has eaten deep into our system. @falzthebahdguy, it’s not about us; na FCC AND CORRECTIONAL CENTRE. YOUR FATHER FEMI FALANA REMAINS OUR FATHER.”
This outreach comes after Falz filed a lawsuit against Very Dark Man following the release of an alleged audio tape. In the tape, Very Dark Man suggested that Falz had pressured his father, Femi Falana, into accepting a bribe from Bobrisky to evade the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
