Troops from the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) successfully repelled an attack by fighters from the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) on their base in Darak, Cameroon. The attack occurred around 1 am on Wednesday, with the MNJTF troops launching a counteroffensive that resulted in the death of at least six ISWAP fighters and the injury of four others.
