President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN). The ceremony took place at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday.
Justice Kekere-Ekun’s appointment was confirmed by the Senate last week following her screening in the upper legislative chamber. She was named acting CJN by Tinubu after the retirement of her predecessor, Justice Olukoyede Ariwoola.
