Amid the ongoing mystery surrounding the sudden passing of singer Mohbad, Perez Medcare Hospital, where he was reportedly taken before his demise, has finally spoken out.

In a press statement posted on their Instagram page on Monday night, the medical center refuted claims that the singer was declared dead while in their facility or had been admitted to their hospital.

According to the hospital’s statement, Mohbad was brought in already deceased, and the individuals who brought him to the hospital confirmed that he had been receiving treatment at home from a nurse who was not a part of their staff.

The statement explained, “At about 04:30 pm on the 12th of September 2023, the lifeless body of Mr. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (AKA Mohbad) was brought to our medical facility. Our medical team immediately took action and, after assessment, it was determined that there were no signs of life. No central or peripheral pulse, no heartbeat, no recordable vital signs, and his pupils were fixed and dilated. Attempting CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), we observed rigor mortis, and we informed the persons who brought him that it was a case of Brought in dead (BID).”

Furthermore, the statement clarified that Mohbad was not a patient of Perez Medcare Hospital and had never been admitted there. The nurse who had been treating him at home was also not associated with their hospital. The statement also pointed out that the video circulating on social media showing Mohbad alive and receiving treatment did not originate from Perez Medcare Hospital.

The hospital’s statement comes as various reports and speculations continue to surround Mohbad’s tragic death, leading to confusion and frustration among the public.

Actress Susan Peters expressed her skepticism, stating, “There is no need to read something with that type of headline. Denied the nurse, now they said he arrived dead. Lol, so who we go believe?” She also mentioned blocking keyboard warriors.

Actress Christabel Egbenya called for the hospital to release its CCTV footage to provide clarity on the situation.

Several commenters in the blog’s comment section raised questions and concerns about the conflicting reports and called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death. Many expressed their belief that the situation was meticulously planned and executed.

In response to the hospital’s statement, one commenter requested the release of CCTV footage to corroborate their account and shed light on the events leading to Mohbad’s tragic passing.
