Super Falcons midfielder Deborah Abiodun has made waves in the NCAA Division I women’s soccer tournament, representing the University of Pittsburgh. The 21-year-old Nigerian star was named to the Second Team All-ACC, her second recognition in as many years, following an impressive season. Despite an early-season injury, Abiodun scored four goals in ACC play, including a standout brace in Pitt’s 3-0 win over Syracuse.
A former player with Rivers Angels in Nigeria, Abiodun’s consistent performances earned her a full scholarship to Pittsburgh, where she continues to make her mark. Recently named a PNC Achiever of the Week, she’s quickly becoming a celebrated figure in college soccer.
