Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Real Madrid is on the verge of signing 18-year-old center-back Lamini Fati from Leganés.
Romano revealed in a tweet on Monday that the deal is nearly finalized, with Real Madrid set to pay a €100,000 fee. Personal terms have also been agreed upon with the young defender.
“Real Madrid are set to sign 18-year-old center-back Lamini Fati for €100k fee, as @relevo reported,” Romano tweeted. “Deal almost done with Leganés. Personal terms also agreed with Fati, who’d join the Juvenil A team. Youth team signing with a view on first-team future progress.”
Fati is expected to join Real Madrid’s youth setup, Juvenil A, as the club views him as a potential future star for the first team.
