On Friday, Muslim protesters held Jumaa’t prayers at the protest site, surrounded by Christian demonstrators who observed and prayed for divine intervention regarding Nigeria’s economic challenges.
Our correspondent reports that the protests showed no signs of abating, as participants gathered at Old Airport Roundabout to hold an interdenominational church service. This event highlighted the unity among the protesters, with Christian prayers being offered and Muslim protesters joining in a display of interfaith solidarity.
The nationwide protest, fueled by economic hardships, insecurity, and perceived government inaction, continues to draw large crowds. Notable attendees at the interdenominational service included Prophet Isah El-buba, global president of the Initiative for Better and Brighter Nigeria (IBBN), and former Minister of Sports Barr. Solomon Dalung.
