Nollywood actress, activist, and politician Tonto Dikeh recently took to Instagram to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, sharing encouraging words and insights for her fellow Nigerians on the nation’s potential.
“Happy 64th Anniversary, Nigeria!” Dikeh began. “Today, we celebrate not just a country but the resilient spirit of over 200 million people whose strength, creativity, and hope have shaped our journey. At 64, we stand proud, rooted in diversity, with a future that promises greatness—if we work together to build it.”
Dikeh emphasized the importance of **renewed hope**, envisioning a Nigeria that serves all citizens—where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered. She called for a future marked by peace, unity, and the strength that has historically defined the nation, urging citizens to transcend differences and bridge long-standing divides.
