Manchester City is reportedly targeting Celtic’s prolific striker Kyogo Furuhashi as a potential replacement for Julian Alvarez. This interest comes after City sold Alvarez to Atletico Madrid for a record-breaking €95 million, creating a need for additional attacking options to support Erling Haaland.
Furuhashi, a 29-year-old Japanese international, has been a standout performer for Celtic, scoring 73 goals in 135 appearances since joining the Scottish club. He has shown a keen interest in moving to the Premier League, and personal terms are not expected to be a significant hurdle in the potential transfer.
