Renowned singer Rudeboy has expressed his deep sorrow over the passing of Nollywood legend John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu.
The news of Mr Ibu’s passing on Saturday, March 2, has left the Nollywood community and fans in mourning. Rudeboy, who was by Mr Ibu’s side during his illness, shared his grief, questioning why despite his efforts, the actor still passed away.
Expressing his disbelief and sadness, Rudeboy lamented the unpredictability of life, emphasizing the emptiness he feels with Mr Ibu’s departure.
In a heartfelt message, he wrote: “I stayed in the hospital with you for weeks just to support you, and yet you left us. God, why? #mribu. Honestly, there’s nothing certain in life.”
