Abia State Governor Alex Otti has appointed Chijioke Nwankwo as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor, replacing Chinedu Ekeke, who recently became the Executive Chairman of Isuikwuato Local Government Area.
The announcement, made through a press release signed by Chief Press Secretary Ukoha Njoku, also detailed other notable appointments:
- Emmanuel Okpechi as Special Adviser on Internally Generated Revenue
- Emeka Enyiazu as Special Adviser on Tertiary Education
- Chinasa Frank Iheanyi as Liaison Officer to the National Assembly
- Ndubuisi Ike as Special Adviser on Finance and Economic Development
- Eric Egwuibe as Special Adviser on Budget and Planning
- Osinachi Nwaka as Director General, Ministry of Finance Incorporated
Governor Otti also reassigned several officials:
- Chimereze Okeigbo as CEO of Abia SME Microfinance Bank
- Urenna Abazie as Director General of the Abia State Orientation Agency
- Mrs. Chinwe Kalu Uba as Special Assistant on Industry and SMEs
- Mrs. Matilda Anyamele as Special Assistant on Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy
