Nigerian actress Georgina Ibeh has revealed her readiness to enter into matrimony, provided her future partner respects her acting profession. The fair-skinned actress expressed her strong belief in marriage and her desire to have a family, but emphasized the importance of her partner’s support for her career.
In an interview with NollyNow, the Imo State-born actress shared her thoughts, stating, “My parents had a long-lasting marriage that continued until I lost my father in 2020. I hold a deep belief in the institution of marriage and in raising a family.”
She went on to say, “While I wouldn’t want to have children outside of wedlock, marriage is something I look forward to. Though I’m not currently in a relationship, I hope to meet someone who understands my passion for my acting career.”
Georgina Ibeh expressed her commitment to being a positive role model for young people who look up to her. She acknowledged that her acting career keeps her busy, and in the future, when she gets married, she envisions a transition to a less hectic lifestyle. As part of her preparation for this future phase, she has established a YouTube Channel called the “Georgina Ibeh Channel,” which she sees as a form of retirement plan.
She stated, “I wouldn’t be as occupied as I am now, moving from one movie set to another. Throughout my career as an actress, some have commended my intelligence, hard work, and role model status for many young women. Others have noted that I come across as outspoken and fearless when addressing issues that affect others.”
In her personal life, Georgina Ibeh considers herself more of an introvert, valuing her personal space and solitude. She emphasized that she keeps her real life separate from her acting roles, fully immersing herself in her characters during performances and stepping out of them once the work is done.
