Authorities have arrested four individuals in connection with the stabbing of Mounir Nasraoui, father of Spanish football prodigy Lamine Yamal, in Catalonia. The incident took place Wednesday evening in a parking lot in Mataro, a town near Barcelona, as confirmed by the Catalan regional police, Mossos d’Esquadra.
Nasraoui suffered multiple stab wounds and is currently receiving treatment at Can Ruti Hospital. A family source reported that his condition is stable, though he remains under observation.
The arrests followed soon after the attack, with three suspects taken into custody on Wednesday night and a fourth apprehended Thursday morning. Police are working to gather more details by interviewing the victim and witnesses to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to reports from Spanish daily *La Vanguardia*, the attack occurred following a confrontation with three men while Nasraoui was out walking his dog.
