Nigerian actor, Emeka Amakeze, has taken issue with his fellow actor, Yul Edochie, for his remarks about Arise TV news anchor Rufai Oseni.
This incident occurred following Yul Edochie’s earlier criticism of Rufai Oseni for allegedly displaying unprofessional conduct during a TV interview.
During a televised argument between APC chieftain Jesutega Onokpasa and Rufai Oseni, their exchange became heated and went viral, sparking discussions on social media.
Yul Edochie expressed his dissatisfaction with Rufai Oseni’s journalistic behavior on his Instagram page. He reprimanded Oseni for what he perceived as political bias that was causing discomfort for his interviewee.
Yul Edochie stressed the importance of journalists maintaining objectivity and not letting their personal political affiliations interfere with their work.
Emeka Amakeze weighed in on the social media conversation, offering his perspective. He suggested that Yul Edochie should be more selective about the battles he chooses to engage in.
He remarked, “Yul should learn to know when to shut up and go boil an egg or do something else. What in the name of struggling to make sense is this?”
When one of Yul Edochie’s fans advised him to show respect for his older colleague, Yul Edochie questioned the fan’s understanding and responded dismissively.
A fan, tinaomovo, wrote: “@emekaamakeze respect your senior colleague Oga you sounded like it’s personal.”
Emeka Amakeze retorted: “Are you always this dumb or is it something that just comes and goes?”
