Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla and social media platform X, has congratulated Cristiano Ronaldo following the Portuguese football star’s standout performance in Al-Nassr’s 3-1 win over Al-Gharafa in the AFC Champions League on Monday.
Ronaldo netted twice, helping Al-Nassr secure a crucial victory in their fifth group match at the Al Bayt Stadium. The win propelled the team into a more favorable position in Group B.
After a goalless first half, Ronaldo opened the scoring just after the break, finding the net in the 46th minute from a cross by Sultan Al-Ghannam. He scored again in the 64th minute, solidifying his team’s lead. Al-Nassr’s Angelo Gabriel had also scored in the 58th minute. Joselu of Al-Gharafa managed to pull one back for the hosts in the 75th minute, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
Following the match, Ronaldo shared images of his goal celebrations on his X account, writing: “Big win tonight!” Elon Musk responded with a simple but heartfelt message: “Congrats!”
