“Davido’s rumored mistress extends an apology to Chioma.”

Published

on

In a recent development, Anita, also known as Nina de Elite, has issued a public apology to Chioma, the wife of Nigerian music sensation Davido. This apology comes in the wake of a heated exchange between Anita and Chioma, during which Anita had even gone so far as to label Chioma a “pity wife.” However, Anita has now come forward, attributing her actions to pain and frustration.

Initially, the feud had been centered around Anita and Davido, but it took an unexpected turn when Chioma was brought into the fray. Anita had insinuated that Chioma’s relationship with Davido was one-sided and based on sympathy.

Anita’s controversial actions didn’t stop there. Shortly before her public apology, she found herself embroiled in a self-created scandal. She claimed to be pregnant with Davido’s child, even sharing an ultrasound image on her Instagram. However, vigilant Nigerians quickly uncovered that she had lifted the ultrasound image from Google, exposing her fabrication.

Adding to the drama, in August, Anita posted an Instagram image of herself dressed in an orange jumpsuit reminiscent of prison attire, with the words “Free Chef Chi,” a direct reference to Chioma. This post garnered considerable attention, fueling further controversy and eliciting reactions from both Anita’s followers and Davido’s fans.

Despite her previous confrontations and questionable actions, Anita has extended an olive branch to Chioma through a heartfelt apology. In her statement, she acknowledges that her previous comments and actions were driven by her own pain and feelings of betrayal. She expressed:

“I am going through a traumatic and tragic time in my life. I honestly don’t want to speak on it and don’t need to or have to speak on it. It’s too much to bear right now. I’m disquieted by all of the events that have taken place. The only thing I will say is I regret that I let my pain and feelings of betrayal lead me to turn against another woman. So, I apologize to Chioma. I never intended to speak ill of you or your child. Losing is never a good feeling, being hurt by someone you love and care about is not a good feeling.

Moving forward, I would prefer to be known for the light I bring into the world.”

Peace & Love
