Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, has rejected claims that he is a newcomer to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Bwala clarified that he was only away from the party for seven months and emphasized his long-standing association with APC.
During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Bwala addressed criticisms regarding his decision to become a media aide after previously criticizing the party and President Tinubu. He denied the accusations of opportunism, stating that most of the attacks against him were sponsored.
Bwala reminded viewers that he had defended the APC consistently for years, stating, “I am not a newcomer. I have only been away for like seven months.” He attributed the negative comments to external forces with their own agendas.
