Renowned musician Olawale Brymo has made a bold accusation against Burna Boy, claiming that Burna Boy stole his unreleased song. Brymo alleges that his track “Macabre” was taken and used in Burna Boy’s latest releases, “City Boy” and “I Told You.”
In an additional revelation, Brymo claimed that he was attacked by a group of seven individuals. Notably, 2Face confirmed the involvement of seven assailants in the incident. Brymo connected the attack to Burna Boy’s track “Big 7” and pointed to a video of Davido with people wearing the number 7. He implied that both Burna Boy and Davido were involved in the assault and should regret their actions.
This trend of artists calling out one another for alleged song theft is becoming increasingly common. Just recently, Blackface accused Asake and Olamide of stealing his song.
Brymo categorizes Burna Boy’s alleged theft of his song as a crime and firmly believes that Burna Boy should face legal consequences for his actions. This development adds to the growing discourse on intellectual property rights and plagiarism within the music industry.
