Carlos made these remarks following Real Madrid’s recent La Liga match, which ended in a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid. He emphasized Vinicius’s composure, saying, “Vini is super calm. He knows he is very close to being the best in the world.”
The former Brazilian left-back noted Vinicius’s impressive performances last season and mentioned that the team is working to help him remain relaxed amidst the pressure of the award. “He played some great games last season, and this year, we are trying to make him more relaxed with the crowds. The Ballon d’Or is there, and I’m very sure he is going to win it.”
