The Action Alliance (AA) has admonished Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, for making what they term frivolous statements regarding the state’s road conditions and education system.
Omoniyi Agbele, the Ekiti State Secretary of Action Alliance, issued a statement on Friday in Ado-Ekiti, condemning Fayose’s recent call for street protests in response to alleged poor infrastructure and educational failures in the state.
Agbele’s statement expressed concern about Fayose’s comments, labeling them “particularly unhealthy for Ekiti democracy and growth.” He noted, “The recent vituperation by Isaac Fayose, calling for protest, is unwarranted.”
The Action Alliance pointed out that many of the roads Fayose criticized are already scheduled for rehabilitation or reconstruction. This rebuttal aims to clarify the status of the infrastructure issues raised by Fayose, emphasizing that there are ongoing efforts to address these concerns rather than simply protesting.
