Renowned Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, known as AY, has expressed his deep appreciation for his wife, Mabel Makun, following the premiere of his latest film, Merry Men 3.
Taking to his Instagram, AY highlighted his wife’s unwavering dedication to his success and described her as the embodiment of “ride or die.” He lauded her ultimate loyalty and steadfast support, noting that she also served as his partner and Executive Producer for Merry Men 3.

Despite the couple’s recent loss of their Lagos mansion in August, they’ve been supporting each other on their journey to recovery. AY reassured his wife that they would overcome their loss, expressing confidence in their unity.
The comedian shared via Instagram that as long as he and Mabel remain united, they are unstoppable. He believes that the challenges they face in life are opportunities for God to create something within them that cannot be defeated.
In another post, AY reflected on the transient nature of pain when one has the right partner to share life’s journey. He emphasized that while pain may linger for a while, it eventually subsides, making way for something new. AY conveyed a heartfelt message to his wife, affirming their commitment to replacing the falsehoods of their detractors with the truth of God.
In a lighthearted note, AY recently humorously shared his wife’s love for roasted corn, recounting how they often stop on the street for her to indulge in this simple pleasure, much to the amusement of passersby, given his celebrity status.
