Nigerian model Samuel Nwajagu has made history by becoming the first African to win the prestigious Mister International pageant. Nwajagu clinched the title at the 16th edition of the competition, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 14, 2024.
The competition saw 47 participants from across the globe, and Nwajagu emerged victorious, marking a significant milestone for African representation on the international pageant stage. His achievement follows his earlier win as Mister International Nigeria in July 2024, which secured his qualification for the global event.
The competition’s top finalists included Nwajagu, Nguyễn Mạnh Lân from Vietnam, and Glenn Victor Sutanto from Indonesia. Nwajagu’s triumph is a source of pride for Nigeria and Africa, as he becomes a trailblazer in the history of the Mister International pageant.
