Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has shared an inspiring message for those who feel like they haven’t accomplished much this year.
Taking to Instagram, Angela shared a heartfelt video in which she reassured her followers not to feel pressured or like a failure. She acknowledged that as 2024 draws to a close, many will flood social media with updates on their achievements. However, her words sought to comfort those who may not have ticked off all their goals this year.
Angela said, “There will be lots of posts from people soon sharing how much they achieved in 2024. But in case someone needs to hear this: it’s okay if the only thing you did this year was to just get it through. It’s okay.”
This isn’t the first time Angela has used her platform to share words of wisdom. Recently, she emphasized the importance of forgiveness, especially after reconnecting with colleague Zubby Michael. She linked forgiveness to receiving God’s blessings and advised her fans to let go of bitterness.
Additionally, Angela has spoken on the concept of self-worth, encouraging her followers to avoid wasting time with people who refuse to recognize their value. She stated, “One’s value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see their worth.”
Angela’s inspiring message comes after she resolved past conflicts with Zubby Michael, a feud that began after the death of Junior Pope. She credited actor Pete Edochie for their reconciliation and declared that it was the season of love and peace.
Back in August, Angela also shared a powerful reminder about kindness, stating that being good to others shows strength of character and should never come with regret, even if it is met with ingratitude.
