The fan had tweeted, “Sometimes I want to rest, and I remember Funke Akindele is not resting.” Funke humorously disagreed, responding, “Na lie. I dey rest wella.”
Despite Funke’s assertion, her colleagues, including Sharon Ooja and Falz, playfully backed the tweep’s perspective. Falz quipped, “For where you dey rest?” while actress Nancy Isime remarked, “Rest ke? She no even dey sleep.”
The celebrated filmmaker, who recently broke records with her blockbuster A Tr!be Called Judah, grossing over ₦1.4 billion, has often been praised for her relentless work ethic.
