Afrobeats singer Davido has asserted that the best doctors in the United States are of Nigerian descent. Speaking on the Afric TV programme, Davido highlighted the significant contributions of Africans in various fields, including the professional and creative sectors. He emphasized that Africans, particularly Nigerians, are making substantial impacts globally.
Davido said, “The best doctors in America are Nigerians. You can search it. Even in my record label [Sony Music], Africans bring the best ideas. That shows that our imagination is off the grid.” He also pointed out that streaming giants like Netflix and Amazon Prime are increasingly turning to African talent for movie ideas, citing the growing presence of Nigerian films in the global entertainment scene.
While it’s widely acknowledged that Nigerians excel in medicine, no specific data currently supports the claim that they are the best doctors in the U.S.
