Fireboy Weighs In on Wizkid vs. Davido Disagreement

-

In a recent interview with City FM, Fireboy DML shared his perspective on conflicts among artists in the Nigerian music scene, particularly the ongoing tension between Wizkid and Davido. He emphasized that disagreements are a normal part of the music industry, stating, “Beef is normal in music. We are all human.”

Fireboy urged fans, artists, and the media to focus on their respective roles, suggesting that conflicts should not overshadow the music itself. “Everyone should just focus on what concerns them. Let artists be artists, fans be fans, and the media keep telling the stories,” he advised.

The singer also discussed his fourth album, *Adedamola*, which features collaborations with artists like Lagbaja, Jon Baptiste, Seun Kuti, and Spinall. He noted that the inclusion of Lagbaja and Seun Kuti was suggested by Olamide, who served as the album’s executive producer.

Fireboy’s comments reflect a desire for a drama-free existence in the industry, aligning with his approach to personal and professional conflicts. The Nigerian music scene has seen various artist disputes over the years, with notable tensions between stars like Ruger and BNXN, as well as between Davido and Burna Boy, alongside the current rivalry between Wizkid and Davido.
