Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has confidently asserted that his market value exceeds €100 million. In an interview with TuttoSport, Osimhen claimed he ranks among the best footballers in the world today.
The 25-year-old played a pivotal role in Napoli’s Scudetto triumph two seasons ago, netting 26 goals in Serie A and becoming the first African player to win the Capocannoniere title.
However, last season saw Osimhen’s anticipated departure from Napoli, with strong links to clubs like PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Al Ahli. Ultimately, a deal did not materialize, and he joined Turkish giants Galatasaray on a season-long contract after being excluded from Napoli’s squad.
In his first four matches with Galatasaray, Osimhen has made an immediate impact, contributing two goals and four assists.
In the interview, he stated, “I am worth more than 100 million euros. There are few players like me in the world who have achieved similar results and success. Everything is tied to my characteristics, my contributions on the pitch, and my quality. I believe I deserve a high valuation.”
Osimhen acknowledged the varied opinions regarding his worth, saying, “Some say €15 million, others €100-120-150. Everyone has different opinions, but I know my value.”
