Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, and his wife, Ashabi, are celebrating the arrival of their second child. The singer took to Instagram to share the joyous news, posting a clip of their newborn daughter alongside maternity photos of Ashabi.
Portable expressed his gratitude, praising God for their new addition and for not bringing them shame. Ashabi shared her excitement, revealing their daughter’s name as Princess Irorunloluwa Eyitayo. She expressed her joy in welcoming her new “playmate” and prayed for blessings for her daughter.
The couple’s journey has seen its share of public drama. In June, Portable revealed Ashabi’s pregnancy in a heated post, claiming she had previously communicated plans to step away from their relationship. Despite the tension, Ashabi celebrated their second anniversary together, expressing gratitude for their love amidst challenges.
Earlier this year, the couple experienced a public fallout after Ashabi gave an interview about their relationship, which upset Portable. He criticized her for discussing their private life but later reaffirmed his commitment to her. Despite past conflicts, including accusations related to his marriage to Bewaji, Portable and Ashabi seem to have reconciled, celebrating their new arrival and their growing family.
