The Presidency has dismissed rumors of a strained relationship between President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, affirming that the Vice President enjoys the President’s complete trust and support.
In a statement issued by Shettima’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha, it was emphasized that Shettima plays a vital role in the administration and remains a loyal and active member. Nkwocha described the rumors of discord as unfounded, calling them “illogical conspiracy theories.”
Marking Shettima’s 58th birthday, Nkwocha praised the Vice President as a dedicated and committed leader who is fully aligned with President Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria. He stressed that the claims of Shettima being marginalized are entirely baseless, highlighting the Vice President’s significant contributions to the administration.
Nkwocha reiterated that Shettima’s loyalty to Tinubu is unwavering and genuine, underscoring the strong relationship between the two leaders as the administration continues to develop its agenda for the country.
