Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has responded humorously to critics who found fault with his Igbo accent in the movie “A Tribe Called Judah.” Taking to Twitter, he playfully apologized to those who thought his accent was exaggerated.

Specifically addressing a netizen named Pidgin Girl, who criticized his Igbotic accent as excessive and off-putting, Uzor Arukwe urged her not to be angry and expressed his apologies for any unintentional exaggeration.

“I aporogize, I didn’t mean to overdo it. Nwanne biko don’t be angly.”

The actor’s playful use of Igbotic pronunciation in his response brought laughter from his fans. In the past, Uzor Arukwe shared insights into his journey in the entertainment industry, highlighting challenges he faced, such as being paid as low as 1000 Naira for a role in the early days of his career.
