Tobi Amusan Fails to Reach 100m Hurdles Final at Paris 2024 Olympics

-

Nigeria’s chances for a medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics took a significant hit on Friday when Tobi Amusan did not advance to the final of the 100m hurdles.

Amusan, a strong contender for the gold, finished third in her semi-final with a time of 12.55 seconds, falling short of both automatic qualification and a spot as one of the fastest losers.

The 27-year-old athlete, who had previously reached the final in Tokyo three years ago, ended up 9th in the overall standings. Amusan is still in search of her first Olympic medal.
