This move follows the suspension of former minister Betta Edu, who was previously accused of fraud and is unlikely to return to her former position.
The presidency released a statement titled “President Bola Tinubu Appoints New Heads of Agencies and Programmes Under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.” According to Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s spokesman, these appointments aim to provide much-needed relief to Nigerians and enhance the efficiency of humanitarian and social development initiatives.
