Super Eagles assistant coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, is confident that Nigeria will qualify for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) despite past setbacks.
The home-based Super Eagles were eliminated by Ghana in the qualifiers for the last edition but will face the Black Stars once again in the qualifiers for the 2025 tournament, co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Ogunmodede emphasized that the focus now is on the present and future, dismissing past defeats. He assured that the team understands the significance of playing at CHAN and is determined to secure a spot this time.
The first leg of the qualifying fixture will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 14, with the return leg scheduled for Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on December 21.
