Their marriage has had its challenges. In 2021, Laila, a Moroccan model, ended her marriage with Ned, citing issues she attributed to Regina Daniels. However, in a surprising turn, she apologized to the Nwoko family in September 2022, blaming her actions on outside influences. Her apology was accepted, and in January, Ned Nwoko penned a heartfelt note to her, reaffirming his love.
Earlier this year, Laila and Regina Daniels resolved their differences, with Regina joining Ned in celebrating Laila’s birthday.
