Nigeria’s Junior D’Tigers secured 7th place at the 2024 U18 Afrobasketball Championship held in Pretoria. The team was eliminated in the quarterfinals after a loss to Egypt. The final rankings were released on Sunday, with Mali emerging as the champions. The top 10 positions were as follows:

In recognition of outstanding individual performances, Junior D’Tigress player Idubamo Beggi was named to the All-Star Team. The All-Star roster also included players from Mali, Cameroon, and Angola.
