Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Jim Iyke, has provided an explanation for his previous comment about his ex-girlfriend, Nadia Buari, which had raised eyebrows. During an interview with media personality Toke Makinwa, he had responded to a question about his relationship with Nadia by saying, “Who’s that,” a response that many found offensive.
In a recent interview, Jim Iyke clarified his comment, emphasizing that he and Nadia Buari have moved on from their past relationship, and both are currently in new relationships. He explained that he didn’t want to offend Nadia Buari’s husband and his current girlfriend by discussing their past affair. Toke had asked an explicit question about Nadia, and Jim Iyke’s response was aimed at avoiding an answer.
Jim Iyke stated, “Anyway, I answer the question of my sexual explicity with Nadia Buari is lose lose. I chose not to answer because no husband wants to hear about an ex, and anyone who doesn’t understand this needs a serious brain check. I didn’t want to offend a married woman with four children, so it was better to leave the past in the past. I must respect both my current partner and Nadia’s husband.”
