The Zamfara State House of Assembly is in mourning following the death of Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Kasuwar Daji, who represented Kaura Namoda South Constituency. The lawmaker passed away in his sleep during the early hours of Wednesday at his residence in Gusau.
Reacting to the tragic news, the Member of the House of Representatives for Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Aminu Sani Jaji, described the late lawmaker’s death as a monumental loss to the state.
In a statement released by his media aide, Jamilu Iliyasu Birnin Magaji, Dr. Jaji expressed profound grief over the passing of his close associate and political ally.
“I am heartbroken by the sad news of the passing of my friend and member of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Kasuwar Daji. His death is a great loss to Zamfara State, Kaura Namoda Local Government Area, and the entire APC family,” Jaji said.
He extended condolences on behalf of himself and the people of his federal constituency to the State Assembly, the Kaura Namoda South Constituency, the government and people of Zamfara State, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the bereaved family.
Jaji prayed for the soul of the deceased, asking Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
He also described Hon. Kasuwar Daji as a devout Muslim, a man of integrity, and a dedicated leader who committed his life to service to God and humanity.
