Afrobeat sensation Davido took to social media to refute rumors of his purported arrest in Kenya following his recent show in the country.
Addressing the false reports on his Instagram story, the “Unavailable” singer clarified that there was no truth to claims of his arrest, which circulated on April 1st.
Davido assured his fans that he completed his scheduled performances in Uganda and Kenya without any incidents and returned home to Nigeria afterward.
He emphasized that he has never been arrested in any country for any crime, whether in Nigeria, the United States, or any of the numerous countries he has visited during his career.
The singer denounced the spread of such baseless allegations as extremely irresponsible, particularly given the context of April Fools’ Day.
Furthermore, Davido’s legal team is currently taking action against the media outlets responsible for disseminating this false information about him.
