The Chika Chukwumerije Sports Foundation (CCSF), in collaboration with the French Embassy in Nigeria and the French Institute, will host a workshop titled “Inspire the Future” at Springhall British School, FCT Abuja, on Wednesday, September 25.
This initiative is part of a broader series of activities across Nigerian schools aimed at celebrating the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The workshop will focus on educating and inspiring young participants about the Olympics, taekwondo, and self-defense.
Chika Chukwumerije, Team Nigeria captain at the London 2012 and Beijing 2008 Olympics, will lead the session. The workshop will cater to 60 students and will feature basic self-defense training for girls, an introduction to taekwondo, and discussions on the values of the Olympics: Excellence, Respect, and Friendship, as well as Nigeria’s taekwondo history.
