-

Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama has responded to the news of singer Davido and his wife, Chioma, reportedly welcoming twins. She took to her Instagram page to express her delight upon waking up to the news, seeing it as a testament to the supremacy of God.

Victoria acknowledged the challenges the couple has faced, including the trauma of losing a child and dealing with hurtful slander. She revealed her concerns for their mental, emotional, and psychological well-being. However, she firmly believes that greatness often leads to significant tribulations. In her message, she wrote, “But this news is a reminder that GOD OVER ALL… Congratulations @davido…GOD ALONE.”

Notably, fellow celebrities such as Susan Peters, Junior Pope, and Daddy Freeze also celebrated the couple upon hearing the news. Daddy Freeze congratulated Davido as his wife gave birth, while Susan Peters mentioned how God blessed them with double after their pain and joyfully referred to them as “Papa and Mama Ejima.” Junior Pope gave all the glory to God, declaring, “God is indeed the greatest, all glory to Him.”

Reports of Davido and Chioma welcoming twins made headlines, and Davido himself added fuel to the rumors by hinting at his wife becoming the “Mama Ibeji” (mother of twins) in one of his songs. He had also tweeted on Sunday that this week would be the best week in his life. His brother, Adewale Adeleke, further fueled the rumors with a tweet expressing gratitude to God.

To strengthen the speculations, music executive Ovie confirmed the news, congratulating the couple and emphasizing that God had bestowed double blessings upon them. Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo also corroborated the reports, providing details about the twins’ birth. According to her, Chioma gave birth to a boy and a girl through cesarean operation (CS) at 38 weeks in Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Chioma had been on bed rest for 90 days leading up to the delivery.
