Victor Osimhen has officially completed his loan move to Galatasaray, the reigning champions of the Turkish Super Lig. The Nigerian striker will earn a net salary of €6 million while donning the number 45 jersey for his new team.
Napoli, Osimhen’s parent club, holds the option to extend his contract until June 2027 if a permanent transfer is not finalized by next summer. This extension provides Napoli with a stronger negotiating position. However, it is anticipated that the release clause for Osimhen will be lowered to between €75-80 million next year, down from the current €130 million.
Osimhen joined Napoli from Ligue 1’s Lille in 2020, where he made a significant impact, scoring 76 goals and providing 18 assists in 133 competitive appearances.
