The Orile Division of the Lagos State Police Command has successfully arrested a 27-year-old suspected cultist identified as Ahmed Ololade, also known as Small Mercy. The arrest was announced through an official post on the command’s X handle on Sunday.
Ahmed Ololade was apprehended in possession of various items, including one locally made pistol, two single-barrel shotguns, six live cartridges, seven live 7.65mm ammunition, one live 9mm ammunition, two axes, and charms.
The caption accompanying the post stated, “27-year-old suspected cultist, Ahmed Ololade aka Small Mercy, has been arrested by officers of Orile Division in possession of the following items: 1 locally made pistol, 2 single barrel shotguns, 6 live cartridges, 7 live 7.65mm ammunition, 1 live 9mm ammunition, two axes, and charms.”
The police emphasized that the investigation into the case is currently ongoing.
