Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Kogi State, Dino Melaye, emerged triumphant at his polling unit, securing 210 votes. His primary contender, Ahmed Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC), trailed behind with 22 votes, while Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) secured a distant third with seven votes.
Earlier, Melaye had raised concerns, alleging pre-filled result sheets across all polling units in the Ogori/Magongo local government areas of the state.
